PRESS: Rostec said may acquire 75% of Akado for 5 bln rbl

MOSCOW, May 13 (PRIME) -- Russian state corporation Rostec may acquire 75% of shares of Moscow Telecommunications Corporation (COMCOR), working under the brand Akado Telecom, for 5 billion rubles, business daily Vedomosti reported on Thursday.

At present, businessman Maxim Mayorets owns 51% of the asset and 49% belong to group Renova.

A source told the daily two scenarios are discussed – Rostec may buy 100% of Akado or a more probable 75%, which will combine Mayorets’s full share and Renova’s 24%.

As of the end of 2020, Akado was Moscow’s fourth by the number of home broadband access clients with about 300,000 households.
